Running Man

Running Man was the outdoor competition reality show presented in the unit of Good Sunday in SBS television station. The program devotes to make new entertaining program different from Real Variety. There were different themes in each semester and it was played by different guests. It was divided into different teams and the winning would gain awarding or prize through all kinds of game msisions.

The members were six original members, Yu Jae Seok, Jee Seok Jin, Kim Jong Kook, HAHA, Song Ji Hyo, Lee Kwang Soo and two new members, Jeon So Min and Liang Shican. The former member, Song Joong Ki, Lizzy and Gary left for their own reason.

Running Man was played in 16:50 in each Sunday from 11 July 2010 (Beijing time 15:50) and it was initially played in SBS.

Product Programming

There would be once per week and the innovation of program is so important along with the increase of semester. Because of the broadcasting frequency, RM daily planning team is formed by three producers and 10 scrip writers. There will be one conference weekly and the discussion topics are content and theme. The range of theme of topics is so broad. The playwright team will be screened based on popular topics to plan each program. These would be topic, including The Gifted, The Avengers and such popular Korean dramas as The Heirs, TV, game, Olympic Game, World Cup.

Role Positioning

The fixed host of RM would have their own core roles. Yu Jae Seok controlled the scenery as a national MC to master the pace of the program; Yu Jae Seok would be ability person for the outstanding body condition and he would be sharp guy in all games; Yu Jae Seok and HAHA would be betraying brothers to add conflicts and turning of program; Song Ji Hyo was in sharp head and she was also ACE in game. She also made a Monday Couple with Gary to add love line for program to tune the atmosphere. The weakest Jee Seok Jin was teased by the program and then he took a responsibility of making fun.
