Background of Program

The inspiration of Who's the Murderer came from the Crime Scene of Korean JTBC. The stars participating in record needed to find evidence in Case Scene and inferred the murderer.

In 2016, video industry was in rapid development. Content, users and marketing had been three motivations to drag the video website and they were fought by all video websites. Therefore, Mango TV produced Super Girls, Who’s the Murderer and Xiangjiaodaka such self-made variety shows.

Who’s the Murderer was in different content. Variety DETECTIVE CHINATOWN customized for the young users attracts the joining of He Jiong, Wang Ou and Qiao Zhenyu and other stars. The first seasons ended with suspicious case shooting mood with vast of consideration in 2016. The guests of the first season would come back in the second season! In this season, Ariel Lin, Dong Li and Yang Rong would join in. The new case plot and difficult inferring technique would be added. The second season of Who’s the Murderer had been launched on 13 January 2017.

As the first stars inferring variety in China, there were 30% exciting plot + 40% variety fun + 30% intelligent inferring in Who’s the Murderer, so it could be called as variety version of DETECTIVE CHINATOWN.

Seen from the program production, it was powerful production with the cooperation of China and Korea and the core strength of Hunan Satellite; He Jiong and other stars participated in the full show. The quality of program, core content, casting level were promise of audience rating for the program. Equipped with the localized classical case to replay Crime Scene, net friends were attracted to join in and all net friends could be a detective of Sherlock.

Interaction + Scenery, different integration marketing

Who’s the Murderer, as original self-made variety show of Mango TV, was featured with head-burning plot and suspicious inferring. Combined with the program features of TV drama and variety show, it inspired the comparison of stars’ intelligence and art talents. The popularity basis was more extensive than the pure suspicion inferring topic.  

The program processes were divided into several researches and the plots were so tight and proceed in an orderly way and step by step, including conclusion review of net friend alleging, detective analysis and conclusion of the alleging, final net friend alleging these three rounds to verify the murderer to improve participation of net friend.
